I picked these styles and describe them as preppy because I like pairing a blazer and polo, button down blouse or turtleneck with just about everything, slouchy because I like clothing to have a certain effortless drape, sporty because I like to pair sleek sneakers and utilitarian bags with my outfits and minimalist because I love the look of clean lines and simple shapes in garments and accessories.
My wardrobe color palette mainly consists of neutrals (black, gray, navy, camel), dark indigo and lighter denim washes and splashes of color with a carefully edited rainbow of berry, aubergine, burgundy, red, purple, magenta, lavender and various shades of blue.
To top off my look, I dust on mineral foundation, paint on a liberal dose of bright magenta, red or subtle pink lip color with a high watt shine gloss top coat, a subtle, sheer rose/copper eye shadow and red or dark purple glasses. And of course, for my hair style I rock either a free form or sleek packed down fro, twists or twist-out.
